Fresh off its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival and distribution deal with TWC-RADiUS, the first clip from musical adaptation “The Last 5 Years” has been released.
In the Richard LaGravenese adaptation of the Jason Robert Brown musical, Anna Kendrick and Jeremy Jordan sing their way through the ups and downs of a relationship – she from the end, and he from the beginning. In the first clip released from the film, Kendrick’s Cathy sings “I Can Do Better Than That,” wherein she hits that honeymoon phase of her relationship with Jordan’s Jamie and thinks they’re going to have a much better life than some of their friends who have already settled into suburban bliss.
“The Last 5 Years” will be released on Valentine’s Day 2015. See the first clip below.
